This is a surdas (സൂര്ദാസ്) bhajan from memory.
The raga can evoke a romantic mood as well as sorrow. This is an extremely popular raga for hindi, tamil and malayalam film music, but surprisingly few carnatic songs.
Misra sivaranjani is a variant that uses G3 as well.
